Kaptol

Gallery Kaptol was founded in 1987 with headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia, at Kaptol No. 13, where it is still located today. From 2024, the gallery has an additional location at Radićeva 32. Since its inception, it has been active in exhibiting artists of all generations with a focus on eminent Croatian painters and sculptors, as well as young artists on the rise. In addition to exhibiting activities, the gallery was also engaged in the publication of art prints. The graphic map “Krležin Gvozd” was presented in 1990, and then several graphic sheets by Đura Pulitika, Stipe Nobil, Voja Radoičić and Bana Milenković were produced. Antun Motika, Vilim Svečnjak, Ivo Dulčić, Matko Trebotić, Vasko Lipovac, Mladen Veža, Velimir Trnski, Jože Plečnik, Antun Masle, Jiři Anderle, Vannetta Cavallotti, Munir Vejzović, Branko Bahunek, Zlatko Prica, Boris Guina, Đuro Pultika, Vojo Radoičić, Omer Mujadžić are some of the artists that exhibited in the gallery. Since it was one of the first galleries that organized exhibitions of artists such as Vasko Lipovac, Ivo Dulčić, Voja Radoičić, Stipe Nobil, and others, and, had pop-up galleries in Dubrovnik, Split, and Hvar, over the years it became one of the most prominent galleries art in Croatia.
