Gallery Canvas was founded in 1992 by the distinguished Zagreb gallerist and one of the founders of the Association of Croatian Gallerists, Boris Osrečki, known to the wider public as the initiator and founder of the respected magazine Grafika, the first Croatian specialized magazine for graphic art. The gallery has been located at its current address in Nikole Tomašića Street 8 since 2002, and in the past period it has hosted more than 150 exhibitions and printed a dozen graphic maps and author’s monographs of renowned Croatian artists.
