Zen Contemporary Art Gallery was founded in 2014 by art historian Frankica Mitrović Mihić with the aim of providing high-quality representation for visual artists on the domestic and international art scene. The gallery is exclusively focused on contemporary art, dedicating its program to showcasing works by renowned younger and mid-career artists, as well as discovering new talents. In addition to regular exhibitions, Zen Contemporary Art Gallery actively promotes international collaboration with foreign art galleries and participates in selected international art fairs. At the same time, it supports better representation of Croatian visual artists in the global art market. From the very beginning, the gallery owner has carefully selected and collaborated with artists whose work she considers exceptionally high-quality and unique, following the careers of many artists since their days as students at the Academy of Fine Arts. Thanks to this dedication, Zen Contemporary Art Gallery is proud to represent a group of leading visual artists on the Croatian art scene today. These are artists who have already made a strong impact on the art scene, and with their exceptional quality, talent, and unique expression, their work is sure to leave a lasting mark on the history of art.
