Gallery Bel Art is a private gallery founded in 1998 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Its vision is to become a regionally recognized contemporary art space that represents and promotes artists on the international art scene. The gallery’s mission is to provide an authentic artistic platform that supports both renowned and emerging talented artists, prioritizing innovative artistic and curatorial practices. Gallery Bel Art is involved in various activities, including the promotion of contemporary artists and significant figures from the second half of the 20th century, the presentation and sale of artworks, the organization of exhibitions, art consulting, and publishing. The gallery aims to engage with artists, art lovers, and collectors alike. A special focus is placed on international artistic collaboration, exemplified by the Festival of Contemporary Art of the Danube Region, “Danube Dialogues.” This festival includes artists from Serbia and several other countries, including Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, and Slovenia. Gallery Bel Art collaborates with numerous institutions and galleries both in Serbia and abroad. It is a co-founder of the “Sava Šumanović” Fine Art Award, established in 1999, and the initiator of the Vertikal Art Criticism Award, established in 2012. Additionally, the gallery possesses a collection of artworks that are displayed in thematic exhibitions.
