Gallery Equrna was established in 1982 as the first private gallery in the former Yugoslavia and has been operating at Gregorčičeva Street 3 since 1984. From its inception, it has been dedicated to showcasing and selling contemporary visual art.

To date, it has hosted over 350 exhibitions in its gallery space and 50 abroad – in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Galerija Equrna has participated in all major international art fairs, including Art Basel, LA Art Fair, Art Forum Berlin, Preview Berlin, ARCO Madrid, and Art Chicago.
