Bosiljka Zirojević Lečić (Novi Sad, Serbia, 1971) graduated with a degree in painting from the Academy of Arts at the University of Novi Sad in 1994 and completed her postgraduate studies there in 2000. She currently teaches as a professor of painting at the same academy. Since 1995, she has been a member of the ULUV and ULUS associations. As part of the Multiflex art group, she collaborates with other artists on multimedia art projects. Over the course of her career, she has exhibited in 23 solo exhibitions and more than 120 group exhibitions, both in Serbia and internationally, including in Poland, Croatia, Sweden, Italy, China, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Austria. For her artistic contributions, she has received several awards. Currently, she coordinates various projects in the fields of fine arts and education. Her research focuses on the relationship between painting and other art media, exploring their parallels and overlaps. One area of her exploration is the relationship between internal and external space, where she examines the possibilities of expression and abstraction through different materials and ideas, aiming to connect diverse media and fields such as art, ecology, urbanism, and visual culture.
